2017 World Games

2017 World Games Announced

The city of Wroclaw in Poland was awarded to host The World Games 2017. The 10th edition of the multi-sport event will take part from 20 to 30 July 2017. Wroclaw is the capital of Lower Silesian Voivodeship with more than 640.000 residents.

The President of the Wroclaw Organizing Committee – The World Games 2017 Limited  is Mr. Marcin Przychodny, the Vice President is Mr. Adam Roczek.

2015 Senior Men’s Recap of Rosario

The smallest headline of the 2015 summer inline hockey season was “Team USA wins Bronze in Rosario, Argentina.”  What isn’t found about the inline hockey game on the international level could fill a book.  For the story, this writer was asked by American Inline Hockey League National Director Jeff Haze to speak with AIHL veterans Joe Mazzie (Empire State Legends), Jon Mosenson (Long Island 495ers) and Blake Ducker (Northeast Uprising), as well as coach Charlie Sgrillo (Philadelphia Liberty) about the experience in Argentina at the World Inline Hockey Championship June 16-21, 2015.

The bald eagle is a large native bird in the United States of America. The eagle is our US National Emblem and stands for courage, strength and freedom. This is an inline hockey story about eagles. This story is about the hard work and dedication of the members of the inline hockey community across the United States and abroad. This is the story of the journey of an Argentinian inline hockey player from her native country of Argentina to the United States of America to pursue a dream and the freedom to play the game she loves so much.

2014 Team USA Hockey Success for all teams

TEAM USA COMES HOME FROM THE 2014 FIRS WORLD INLINE HOCKEY CHAMPIONSHIPS
WITH SUCCESS FOR ALL TEAMS!

Congratulations to the Senior Men and the Senior Women’s USA Teams on their Gold Medal wins at the FIRS World Inline Hockey in Toulouse France, which took place from June 30 to July 13, 2014.

To win the Gold, the USA Defending Senior Women Team beat Canada 3-2. Members of that team were Mariah Blackmore, Kayla Demint, Jessica Dunne, Jincy Dune, Allison Era, Joy Woog-Garvey, Lisa Giovanelli, Danielle Groen, Melanie Moore, Courtney Orner, Elisa Pogu, Catherine Santo, Chelsi Wells, Ariane Yokoyama, and Goalies Mariah Blackmore and Danielle Groen. The team was coached by Chalie Sgrillo and Assistant Coach David Marmorstein.
